The Environmental Primers are an ongoing project by students in the Environmental Engineering and Sciences Program at Virginia Tech. Each term, students in one or more classes are required to write a web page on a topic of their choice dealing with some aspect of the class. These pages are collected and incorporated into the Primer. This is a long term project. Further topics will be added each semester. The overall goal is a student-authored document that can serve as a resource to other students and the general public. water treatment primer   faculty - Dr. Daniel Gallagher (CEE)   Initial version completed Fall, 1996.
